Paladins Cheat Reference: Detection, Setup, Features and Risk
Paladins does not use BattlEye, EasyAntiCheat or Vanguard; enforcement is server-side and report-driven through Hi-Rez's own systems, backed by manual review of suspicious matches. In practice this means detections lean heavily on player reports, statistical anomalies and replay analysis rather than a kernel driver watching your process. Bans are account-level, so a flagged account is lost but the hardware itself is not blacklisted by the anti-cheat.
How Paladins detects cheating
Paladins relies on server-side telemetry and player reports rather than a client anti-cheat driver. Hi-Rez studies accuracy, headshot ratios, reaction timing and movement patterns across matches, and flagged accounts are reviewed manually using match replays and spectator data. Bans are account-level: a banned account is closed, but the same hardware can register a new account, although repeat behaviour tends to shorten the review window. There is no published hardware-ID ban policy, so treat every account as expendable rather than assuming a machine-level block. Report volume from opponents is the single strongest trigger for review.
Display and overlay setup
Run Paladins in fullscreen exclusive rather than borderless windowed; the game's renderer behaves more consistently and overlay injection is less likely to cause stutter during team fights on maps like Stone Keep. Disable the Discord, GeForce Experience and Xbox Game Bar overlays before launch, as they hook the same DirectX layer and can cause the cheat menu to miss input or the game to crash on the champion select screen. Secure Boot is not required, and no spoofer is needed because there is no kernel-level anti-cheat to satisfy. Launch the game first, then attach.
Features that matter in Paladins
Paladins is a hero shooter with 5v5 Siege and Onslaught, so aim assistance tuned for projectile champions is more valuable than raw snap. Use low-smoothing aimbot with a narrow FOV for hitscan champions such as Viktor and Tyra, and separate projectile prediction for Evie and Drogoz so shots lead correctly. ESP showing enemy ultimate charge and cooldowns is far more useful than simple wallhacks, because ult economy decides fights on maps like Frozen Guard. Keep aim strength modest and avoid locking through smoke or walls, which reads as unnatural on killcam.
Where the real risk sits
The killcam and death replay are the main exposure points in Paladins: suspicious tracking through walls or instant flicks are visible to every opponent, and reports follow quickly. Spectating teammates and the post-match replay system give reviewers clean footage, and small lobbies in ranked Siege mean the same players meet repeatedly and notice patterns. Statistical outliers such as a sudden jump in headshot rate or win rate on a fresh account draw manual review. Tournament play and high-ranked matches carry the highest scrutiny, so limit aggressive settings in Diamond and above.
