Enlisted Cheats Reference: Detection, Setup, Features and Risk
Enlisted is a squad-based shooter built on the Gaijin Entertainment Dagor Engine, using a server-authoritative model without a named third-party anti-cheat such as BattlEye or EasyAntiCheat. Enforcement is therefore server-side and heavily report-driven, with account-level bans issued through Gaijin's own systems rather than hardware bans. This means cheat detection relies on behavioural analysis, statistical outliers and player reports, not on a kernel-level scanner.
How Enlisted Detects Cheating
Enlisted does not use a client-side anti-cheat product like BattlEye or EasyAntiCheat. Detection is handled server-side by Gaijin's own backend, which logs every shot, movement vector and kill event for post-match analysis. Automated flags trigger on impossible accuracy, impossible reaction times or repeated pre-fire through walls, and these flags feed a manual review queue. Bans are account-level, tied to the Gaijin account and its linked email, not to hardware identifiers. A new account can be created on the same machine after a ban, although repeated bans on the same hardware may attract additional scrutiny. There is no spoofer requirement because there is no hardware ID ban to bypass.
Display Mode and Overlay Conflicts
Enlisted runs best in fullscreen exclusive mode on Windows, as borderless windowed can introduce frame-pacing issues that make aim smoothing look unnatural. Overlays from Discord, Steam, GeForce Experience and MSI Afterburner conflict with the game's DirectX 11 renderer and can cause stutter or input lag that ruins timing-based features. Disable all overlays before launch, including the Xbox Game Bar. Secure Boot is not required because there is no kernel-level anti-cheat to satisfy. No spoofer is needed either, since bans are account-level. Launch the game directly from its own launcher rather than through Steam where possible, to avoid the Steam overlay hook.
Useful Features for Enlisted's Format
Enlisted's squad mechanics and large maps reward information features over raw aim. ESP showing enemy squad positions and spawn points is the most valuable, particularly on maps like Normandy, Berlin and Moscow where flanking routes are wide. Aim smoothing set to low, with a reaction delay of 150-250ms, mimics human tracking and is far less detectable than snap aim. Recoil control should be modest, matching the actual recoil of weapons like the MP40, PPSh-41 or Garand rather than eliminating it. Avoid features that highlight soldiers through walls at long range, as Enlisted's engagement distances are usually under 100 metres and such behaviour stands out in killcams.
Where Realistic Risk Lies
The main risk in Enlisted comes from killcams and the post-match replay system, which show your exact aim path to the player you killed. Spectating is also common in squad play, and a teammate watching your view will notice unnatural tracking or pre-aim. Reports are reviewed manually, and a cluster of reports from the same match carries weight. Small lobbies in custom battles or events make statistical outliers obvious, as your accuracy and headshot rate are compared against a small sample. Tournaments and official events use additional referee observation, so avoid cheats there entirely. Statistical outliers over many matches are the most reliable trigger for manual review.
