Bans are account-level, tied to the EA account rather than the machine, so a flagged account loses all progression, unlocks and purchased content. Enforcement combines automated detection with player reports reviewed against server-side telemetry.
How Battlefield 6 detects cheating
Javelin runs as a kernel driver from boot, scanning for known cheat signatures, unsigned drivers and suspicious memory access while Battlefield 6 is running. It also feeds behavioural telemetry to EA: aim snap angles, recoil compensation patterns, reaction times and movement anomalies are compared against baseline distributions per weapon and per map. Bans are issued at account level, not hardware level, so a new EA account on the same machine can play again, though repeated flags on one hardware ID raise review priority. Appeals go through EA's support portal and are rarely overturned once telemetry is attached.
Display, overlays and Secure Boot
Run Battlefield 6 in exclusive fullscreen rather than borderless; borderless adds compositor latency that makes aim smoothing look jerky on 128-player Breakthrough servers. Disable Discord, GeForce Experience and Steam overlays before launch, as Javelin flags some overlay hooks as unsigned injection. Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 must be enabled in BIOS or Javelin refuses to initialise on Windows 11. No spoofer is needed for a clean account, but a hardware spoofer is required after an account ban if you intend to reuse the same machine, and it must load before the Javelin driver at boot.
Features that matter in Battlefield 6
Aim assist tuned to Battlefield 6's engagement ranges is more useful than raw snap: set smoothing high for the 4x scopes on maps like Mirak Valley and low for close-quarters fights in the Metro-style tunnels of Operation Ironclad. Recoil control should follow the actual patterns of the AK-24, M4A1 and LCMG rather than a generic vertical pull, or VOD review will spot the difference. ESP is worth keeping to vehicle outlines and objective markers on 128-player Conquest, where situational awareness matters more than wallhacks. Avoid silent aim entirely; it produces impossible crosshair paths that stand out in spectator mode.
Where the realistic risk sits
Killcams in Battlefield 6 replay the last two seconds from the killer's perspective, and they are the single most common source of reports; a 180-degree flick onto a prone sniper on Sinai Border reads as impossible even when it is not. Spectator mode in custom Portal matches exposes smoothing artefacts to anyone watching, and Battlefield 6's report flow now attaches the death replay automatically. Small lobbies in Hazard Zone and 8v8 Rush make statistical outliers obvious within a few rounds. Tournament play on Javelin-monitored servers adds manual review, and rank progression that jumps faster than the per-weapon accuracy curve allows will trigger a telemetry flag before any player report arrives.
