ARC Raiders uses EasyAntiCheat as its client-side anti-cheat, backed by server-side enforcement and the game's own report system. In practice this means EAC scans for known cheat signatures and suspicious memory edits, but bans are issued through Embark's account system rather than hardware IDs, so a flagged account is lost while the machine can be reused. The system is not kernel-level in the way Vanguard is, but it is persistent and updates with each patch.
How ARC Raiders Detects Cheating
EasyAntiCheat runs alongside the ARC Raiders client and watches for injected modules, altered game memory and known cheat binaries. Detection is account-level: a ban removes access to the game on that Embark account but does not blacklist the machine's hardware, so a new account can be created on the same PC. Embark also operates server-side checks on movement speed, damage events and loot pickups, which catch obvious exploits even when EAC misses them. Reports from other players feed into a manual review queue, and repeat reports from the same match carry more weight than isolated ones. Hardware bans are not standard for ARC Raiders, though Embark reserves the right to apply them in severe or repeated cases.
Display Mode and Overlay Conflicts

Tournaments and community-run events add manual review, where replay analysis catches behaviour that automated tools miss.
